"Bladder stones"

Question:

Hello to the Colgans! I am 72 yrs young and after completing an extended cardio run several weeks ago, I discovered some blood in my urine. Upon seeing a urologist, it was determined that I had several small stones in my bladder and that, that would represent the probable cause. Could you please suggest a product that I could take, to eliminate these little stones?. I would very much appreciate your reply. Thank you. Sincerely, Gary

Answer:

Hi Gary:  Bladder stones are not as common as kidney stones and occur mostly in men.  Part of the problem, especially in men, is that as you age, the bladder does not empty completely, which allows the stones to form. One of the most common reasons for this is enlargement of the prostate.  We would suggest that you drink plenty of water and cranberry juice and begin to use the nutrients that DR. Colgan recommends in "Protect Your Prostate".  These will help to keep your prostate healthy and slow down the normal enlargement of the prostate.  CI
