23 yr old athlete and high blood pressure

Question:

I am a 23 year old athlete and I'm having some problems/concerns. First, I can sleep for 6 hours or 12 hours and I will always feel fatigued mid afternoon. I have also noticed that my blood pressure has been slightly elevated over the past couple years 130/80-90 and more recently I have been getting regular readings of around 160/90-100. I practice a good diet and rarely eat out and my salt intake is very low. I eat loads of fruits and veggies, do plenty of cardio and weight training, and am in incredible physical shape overall (very low body fat and amazing cholesterol levels). I have been to my doctor (Kaiser Permanente) and they are doing little to nothing about my symptoms and tell me I am healthy. I feel like I should have a sleep study done for sleep apnea, maybe a testosterone panel, and maybe a hair study (as suggested by my uncle). However, Kaiser isn't going to help me with these things. My question to you is, should I be worried? What actions should I take? I am in need of advice where no others will help. Thank you so much.

Answer:

Hi: Go to worldheath.net and find a doctor in your area who specializes in anti-aging medicine and go and see them.  CI
